The Railway Tavern - The Pub on the river

Walk outside, drink in hand, and sit in the best beer garden for miles, with a sheltered smoking area and extensive seating alongside the pub’s very own large-scale water feature: the Blackwater river. Don’t be deterred by the name, it’s as clear as the beer, and is home to beautiful swans, minks and other riverside wildlife.

If your little ones get tired of feeding the ducks there is a children’s play area at the bottom of the garden.

Of course if the heavens decide to open, all children are welcome inside the pub where they will find their own range of drinks and meals, including child sized roasts on a Sunday. In fact, all are welcome at The Railway Tavern.
